What did I learn that was new to me?
This week we continue chapter 4 topic which is we are asked to founded company that have selling the product within websites and in the store itself .

did it help me see something in a new light?
This week give me more difficulty to do this excersices with given more question on this chapter.

Yes,but still just a little bit to understand this kind of excersice.

It will be might useful if i learning more about marketing so that i can practice for the new one experience in my life.

How did I feel about what was done?
i felt more difficulty to do this excersice this week because i only can understand a bit of explanation from the lecturer.

Did it affect me emotionally and if so how?
This week it feel like i wanna be give up to come school but my mine set i have to finish first my diploma study and i can do it,even it so difficult by the lecturer help n friend my spirit back.

What did I like or enjoy and why? 
this week i like when learning more chapter about eBusiness and some excersice to do because to give us more challenging  to know this subject and more practices to do assignment before the final assignment given.
What did I dislike and why?
Just for difficult to understand this excersices only.but i'll try my best to finish this excersices.

i find more easier when u give example for each topic which i can more understand.

Q1: Define "direct materials" and "indirect materials". List reasons for a large company having two separate departments to manage the purchasing of each.

ANSWER:

Direct material is raw material, standard and specialized parts, and sub-assemblies required to assemble or manufacture a complete complete product. Direct material costs are assignable to a specific product, cost center, or work order.For example selling camera.And in indirect material is a material, purchases and supplies used in the operation of the business not directly associated with production and are part of operation expenses,as opposed to direct material. For example for indirect material is lens,bag,memory card of the camera.The reasons for the large company having two separate department to manage the purchasing is because of  the cost itself  that can get more profit if using direct material on selling.If indirect material it can make it marketing strategic expertise to attract customer such as essentially a pattern or plan that integrates your organization's major goals, policies, and action sequences.They also can make easier to manage selling of the products itself. 


Q2: In about 200 words, describe the reasons a buyer might have for wanting to participate in an industry consortium marketplace instead of setting up its own private company marketplace.

ANSWER: 
Consortium marketing is joint-venture of selling the product which a buyer sometimes using this such as industry.Consortium also can be create by E-marketing for the textile by using a online. They have a reasons why a buyer might have for waiting to participate in an industry consortium marketplace instead of setting up its own private company marketplace for example selling a clothes and tudong.Within selling this kinds of product the buyer or the customer can mix and match so that they can make easier to find the product at one store or one shop only. The customer also can find the same color or pattern and etc.Who are buying using this consortium marketplace,they can get saving cost on buying some of the product than buying some product with different stores.The customer also can  make easier to choose the product in same place within using this type of consortium marketplace.


Q3: Which industries were the first to establish standard RFID technology? In about 100 words, state why, in your opinion, these industries were more interested in RFID tag technology than other industries.

ANSWER: 
 In this task,we a asking to find a research about which industries were the first to establish standard RFID technology which RFID is known as Radio Frequency Identification Technology.In using RFID technology there have the benefit and challenge of the technology for organization that are involved in the production,movement or sale if retail.   RFID is evolving as a major technology enabler for identifying and tracking goods and assets around the world.

 RFID is not the first disturbing fact of new technology but it was first used over sixty years ago by Britain to identify aircraft in World War II.There also founded a solution for the commercial world for the first considered during 1960s and during 70s and 80s RFID was involving the first commercial application.RFID also has a global outlook which a the third era of RFID started in 1998.Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was doing research Auto-ID Center that began to research new ways to track and identify objects as the moved between the physical location.When new era of RFID started they have change how information is held on tags can be effectively scanned and shared with business partners in near real time.Within doing this there are needed standard to focused on reducing the cost of manufacturing RFID tags,optimizing data networks for storing and delivering larger amount of data and developing open standards.Now Auto-ID Center officially closed on October 26, 2003, transferring all its technology to EPCglobal with known as Electronic Product Code Network which is to support the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) with fast-moving.


In addition,my opinion based on this research  was RFID become more high technology compare then before.They also make the RFID more faster moving to supported and easy to store and deliver large amount of data so that it can make easier to find some data on the system.

More interested to know both chapter even i still feel a bit of confusing to learn this subject but i'll trying to understand in a slow step.

This week it just feel a bit tried to attend class but when i meet up with the classmates i fell become exuberant.

Select a retail store with which you are familiar that has a Web site on which it sells products or services similar to those it sells in its physical retail stores.
Explore the Web site and examine it carefully for features that indicate the level of services it provides. Using your experience in the physical store and review of the Web site, write a 200 word evaluation of the company's touch point consistency.

ANSWER:


In this task,i was making some research about a store that have website in Brunei which is Bata Store. In Brunei Darussalam there have more then 5 shops in Brunei Muara District,1 shop at Tutong District and 2 shops at Kuala Belait District of Bata Store.Almost all of Bata Store i already visiting but i just familiar at Brunei Muara District such as at The Mall Gadong and Yayasan where are located near the Central of Bandar Seri Begawan .In this store there provide stuffs such as indoor shoes,street shoes,sport shoes,outdoor shoes,home footwear,kids footwear and accessories.More then 10 brands were having at the store such as bubblegummers,marie claire,power,bata comfit,north star and etc.I go there just once a month to buy their new stuffs.I choose this store because Bata Superstores offer a wide assortment of fashion, casual and athletic footwear for the entire family.They also provide good quality shoes with great price and best value and they also create the business models that permit a quick response to the ever-changing wants and needs of their customers.In this store we can do the payment by using cash term,credit cards or debit cards.Sometimes,it have a different prices between catalogue at the website and the shop.The websites are more cheaper then at the shop itself.They also give a promotion example mid-year sales,end-year sales and they also give promotion during big day such as Hari Raya,Chinese New Year,Mother's Day and etc.

What were the main forces that led to the commercialization of the Internet? Summarize your answer in about 100 words.

ANSWER:
The main forces that led to the commercialization of the Internet is about the cost and quality of the product.With buying the stuffs using the website,we can make easier to shop with clear product by category style.In the website,there is many choices such as handbags,bags and shoes with given more cheaper prices with more good quality then in the branch itself it was because of they give free shipping and tax.If in the shop,they give different prices between high-quality and low-quality of product which a they given high-quality and new stuffs with higher prices and low-quality and older stuffs with lowest prices.In the website,their have many stuffs that a high-quality then in the shops itself which the low-quality is sold more at the shops.Even in this products,their have different quality not means that the high-quality a the more better products then the non-quality.The non-quality also have a good products as well .The company also have a target such a wide range of customer and offer an excellent price-quality ratio.

Describe two possible service-for-fee offerings that might become available to users of Internet-enabled wireless devices (such as iPad or mobile phones) in the near future. Write one paragraph for each service in which you outline the profit potential and risk of losses for each.

ANSWER:

ANSWER:
A customer-centric web sites design is so important, yet is so difficult to accomplish is because of according to changing times.Sometimes each item it shouldn't be selling only in the website,it was because some people want to see directly the items as well such as the conditions and the kind of goods.In this question i want to select about selling laptop which some people don't want to buying the item using online shops because of they need to see how the condition and how to use it.

 Even within buying a laptop in the online website are more cheaper then in the branch itself but they have different target how to produce the sales which the target if selling in the website is expect more pay less and target of selling directly is using a business plan.For me,if i want to buy a laptop i much prefer buying in direct shop to what it look like and what function can be use it and etc.Selling a good not necessarily can be sale with directly sale but some part of good also can be sell in the website but mostly people want to look first the good before buying.

Question 5:
Promoting products on the Web is different from using mass media promotion or personal contact. Assume that you want to explain these differences to a person who is planning to open a Web site that will sell fishing-rod. Write one paragraph about each approach (mass media, personal contact, the Web). In each paragraph, explain the advantages and disadvantages of the approach for the fishing rod Web business.

ANSWER:

In this task,we are asked to give a description of advantages and disadvantages of selling a fishing rod at the Web business.Firstly,before we can get a the latest fishing we a using an antique fishing rod with traditional material such as using bamboo and wood from 20th or 21st centuries ago.For thousands of years, the fishing rod remained short, not more than a few feet in length. The earliest reference to a longer, jointed rod is from Roman times, about the 4th century AD.By this,there have many different interm of costs,product,services and security within selling in the website and on the store itself.

Mass media: Mass media is a collectively to all media technology that are intended to reach a large audience via media communication which are also known as electronic media such as Television.Cds,Films and etc.Prints media is use with physical object as means of sending their information,such as newspapers,magazines,newsletter and etc.Mass media also have provide service of internet media as well such as email,blogging and websites.The advantages of selling fishing rod using the mass media is about the cost not too much expensive then they selling within the websites and also they give high-quality of the products itself.The disadvantages of selling fishing rod by media mass is the person cannot see the condition of the products and sometimes people wanted to buy the fishing rod in the shop itself too check the size,length and etc.

Personal contact: Personal contact is the one we can meet directly person to person.Within selling a goods by personal contact we can get the advantages is the person can look first before they buying the things which they can give shipment to the person who want to buy the things.They also can reducing the prices when the person really want to buy the goods.By that,it's also have disadvantage when they selling the goods by using personal contact which is they can get a little loss revenue of selling the product and the quality of the product also not much better then another seller that sell within website or media mass.

The Web:Web is only web pages dedicated to explaining that means world wide web,internet.By selling fishing rod by using website,the advantage is owner makes their profit on the difference between the wholesale price and what they sell the product for such as they no need to hold a stock,
no hassle with post, packing and returns,offer a wider range of products,bulk wholesale pricing,focus on what you do best,no wastage and obsolete stock and experimentation with new products.While the disadvantage people cannot see the product directly and we can't get really that we wanted such as the reels,length of fishing rod,size and etc.


In addition,the concluded for the sale of fishing rod is too much competition available at this time, especially at the price given in every way in which the sale of more than give buyers relative to goods cheaper than the expensive items, but not all the cheap goods we can find in the stores,we can get it also through the web online seller that the good sometimes don't have in the stores as well.

By this,i was visiting IKEA product in the websites which are selling furniture online.,so that we can get all the information on the sites.The IKEA products  was began in 1975 in the small village of Agunnaryd in Swenden,when founder Ingvar Kamprad was just 17.More over six decades,Ikea went from the woods of southern Sweden to being a major retail experience in 44 counties/territories around the world.

CONCLUSION
In this task, several e-commerce sites that sell home office furniture online has been research using the websites to get all the information about the IKEA products.This company also advertising their products in the websites and by the catalogue.IKEA give more attraction for customers such as  give membership programme,IKEA friend cards,monthly benefit buys and return policy can be use.Method of payment also can be using cash receipt,credit cards,debit,debit cards and IKEA gift cards.I can get all the information by making a research from google and from that i found IKEA and make it as my task.
